Immunowash Standard Wash Buffer is used to rinse away reagents between steps of immunohistochemical staining protocols. This solution helps to maintain the morphological characteristics of the antibodies and their respective epitopes, in order to facilitate the specific binding necessary in an immunohistochemical reaction. Added surfactant helps in spreading of the reagent properly on the tissue, promotes effective washing and prevents non-specific background staining.
